Tegan Lorentson, Trimble
Bri Zanella, Director of Learning and Development, Trimble
Description:

In my session last year, we discussed creating a culture of learning to enable measurable impacts on your business. This year, we’ll expand on the “how” to discuss the “why,” so you can build a training program that drives meaningful results while engaging modern learners.

AI has changed how we work and learn. As AI assistants increase in popularity, knowing “how” to complete a series of steps isn’t as effective as knowing why those steps exist. Why should a user enable option A over B during system setup? How do various workflows affect the functionality of the product? How can users troubleshoot a process that behaves differently than expected? When we make training the solution, we empower learners to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be applied to new and more complex situations.

Join Bri Zanella, Director of Learning & Development at Trimble, and Tegan Lorentson, Instructional Design Manager, as they demonstrate how to create training that promotes resiliency and adaptability throughout your organization.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand how to define training objectives that are aligned to specific business outcomes and/or develop required skillsets.
  2. Make training more engaging with gamification and modules targeted to specific personas
