Shailesh Chanekar has worked with Trimble, Inc.  for more than 6 years and is responsible for product management of core services which includes routing, geocoding, traffic, and weather. Before joining Trimble, he worked with MapText, Inc., a Lufthansa Systems company and ESRI before that. He has mapping industry experience of more than 25 years, including innovative products development such as moving map application for commercial airlines, field mapping and augmented reality application for asset management, etc. He has a Computer Science degree from BITS, Pilani (India) and MSc Geographic Information from the City University of London.
