The TransportationModeler lab will be a stand-alone session where a sample project will be solved in real time. From setup to configuration of parameters and analysis of results, you'll learn the inner workings of our new and improved Transportation Modeler application. TransportationModeler is used by dedicated fleets to optimize their fleet to service multiple dedicated accounts with the fewest resources possible. TransportationModeler can help an analyst discover the best domicile for assets with the end goal of lining up perfect pairs of shipments together to form a 100% loaded driver run with zero empty miles. Lastly, TransportationModeler can also do simple mode selection, identifying lanes that are best serviced by third-party or LTL providers instead of dedicated fleets. Attendees should join if they've ever wanted to know more about this improved module, solve those routing problems where the normal domicile-centric algorithm struggles, and how it can pair with ResourcePro to further reduce total asset count. 20 laptops will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
