Tom Moore began his career in 1978 with American Trucking Associations and joined the Private Carrier Conference in 1984, where he was named Executive Director in 1986. Three years later, he joined Fleet Owner as Washington Editor, where he worked before being named Director of Public Affairs of the Georgia Ports Authority. He rejoined Fleet Owner as Editor, and in 2001, started his own strategic marketing communications company. He joined NPTC in his current role in 2007.
