Steve Chapman serves as a Solution Architect at Trimble Transportation.  He has been with Trimble for 18 years, he did an earlier stint with TMW in the mid-1996-1998.  His role as Solutions Architect allows him to use his analytical skill set to discover the needs of new and existing customers.  He uses those results to create User Requirements deliverables for the client and the implementation team to map the future state in the customer environment.  

He worked for his father’s trucking company, Zerkle Trucking, which was the third installation of the TTS-The Trucking System (DOS) product that TMW originally brought to market.   

Steve has a Bachelor of Arts, in History, from Marshall University. He also completed a Masters, in Religion, from Trinity International University.

Steve’s time in support has allowed him to build relationships with a broad range of customers and further develop his industry knowledge.   He has become a driver in TMW’s Brokerage and LTL product set.  He also has developed an understanding of the auto-hauling features within TMW.  His ability to troubleshoot and ask the right questions has often assisted in resolving an issue quickly.

Steve continues to wear many hats.  He is proficient in the TMWSuite applications, both PowerBuilder and .NET, this includes Order Entry, Dispatch, Invoicing, Settlements, Tariffs (Billing and Settlements), the .NET LTL application, Mileage setup (including configuring WebServices mileage offered by Trimble Maps in the TMWSuite environment, Brokerage Components, Imaging process, SSRS review, Web Products applications, and TTS50.ini review.
